🚨 Snow Globe Troubleshooting Tips! 🚨

We’ve had a few makers mention leaking issues with their snow globes, so here are some pro tips to help:

✨ Use a good quality UV resin. We highly recommend CCDIY UV Resin (you can find it on Amazon). A strong resin makes all the difference in sealing!

You also can use an acrylic glue as well but will have to wait longer for the drying process.

✨ Prep your surface. This is one of those “crafting debates” – some crafters sand, some don’t. We’ve successfully made plenty of snow globes both ways, BUT… if you’re experiencing leaks, we strongly suggest lightly sanding your surface before sealing. This gives the resin a better grip and helps prevent leaks.

Here are some great sanding sticks we have been using, lightly sand the area where you will stick your uv resin to attach your acrylic front, back and core and clean with alcohol before applying. Allow the surface to fully dry before applying UV Resin.
